ISPs across the state of North Carolina are rolling out Gigabit Internet speeds to residences. We recently published a blog post and interactive map showing the ultra high-speed Internet deployment across the state. ((* Note: In order to achieve gigabit internet speeds you need to have a computer, modem, and AC wi-fi router that support the speed. We recently purchased a gigabit wif-fi router for less than $100 (TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router) and have been pleased with the results.))

Gigabit Cities Live recently came to Charlotte, and our co-founder Alan Fitzpatrick was interviewed about North Carolina becoming the first Gigabit State. See the video below:
